Conference Overview
Save the date for this year's Younger Member Leadership Symposium Alumni Summit (YMLS AS) from August 21-23, 2026 at ASCE Headquarters in Reston, VA! This year's event will be held jointly with YMLS.
The YMLS AS is an advanced leadership and soft-skill training workshop exclusively offered to ASCE Younger Members who have attended at least one in-person YMLS event before. The weekend will include both networking and social opportunities as well as advanced training on topics such as personal development, leadership in the workplace, and people/project management.
Attendance Eligibility Note
Please note that to be eligible for YMLS AS, you must be:
- An active ASCE younger member in good standing
- Have attended YMLS at ASCE Headquarters (Reston, VA) in 2025 or earlier, OR attended one of the three YMC+ events held in 2022 (Hartford, CT, Park City, UT, or Austin, TX).
- Any registrants who are found to be ineligible will be canceled and refunded.

Pre-Conference Schedule
Optional Pre-Conference activities are available on Friday, August 21st. A walking group will head to the Reston Town Center Metro Station around 10am EST to take the Metro to downtown Washington, D.C. From there, attendees will be encouraged to choose one of several activity options that CYM will provide. Lunch will be on your own. Pre-conference attendees will then head to the U.S. Capitol Building for a 2pm tour.
Tour space is limited to registered attendees. Attendees must reserve a spot for the U.S. Capitol Building tour by Wednesday, August 19th at 12pm EST using the RSVP here.
Please only fill out the RSVP after you have registered for the conference.

There are two recommended hotels in Reston for this year's conference. They share a parking lot, and both will have shuttle transportation provided to YMLS programming. There are no conference block rates. We recommend choosing your preferred hotel based on available pricing or loyalty program benefits.
